Classica’s Monterey Plan Wins Gold Award

Exciting news! Classica’s model home/floorplan, The Monterey, has won a National GOLD award for Best Single Family Model Home 3,500-4,000 sq. ft. (page 72 of the Nationals Gold book).  The Nationals are the home building industry’s highest national award competition.

“We introduced this plan in 2014 and it has proven to be a timeless modern classic design for families in all different stages of life,” said Bill Saint, President and CEO of Classica.  “To date we have sold 64 of these plans and have changed the way families live. The Monterey is the first home where we took Covered Outdoor Living to a higher level, connecting this room to 2 living spaces creating what we call 4-square living.  We also introduced with The Monterey, and the 14 plans we have since created, walls of glass doors that slide or stack that merge the inside and outside into one living space.”
